One of the important missions of Sri Sakthi Amma is to bring people closer to the divine. Amma always says 'Pooja' or worship is an expression of love. Worship is not only for priests. Pooja can be done by anyone. Infact everyone must perform Pooja.
In alignment with this mission, Sri Sakthi Amma created a solid idol of Sri Mahalakshmi with gold, weighing about 70 Kgs. Lovingly addressed as Sri Swarna Lakshmi, the idol was cast into a mould within the precincts of Sripuram by a team of highly creative artists specialising in idol casting and hand-etching.
Sri Sakthi Amma has consecrated Sri Swarna Lakshmi Idol in the mantapam facing the Golden Temple, enabling devotees to perform abhishekam to the idol by themselves.
If we surrender then we are always at peace, and whether we get what we want or not, (or even whether we are happy or not) doesn't matter. This is becausewe accept everything that occurs happens for the best.
