Sri Sakthi Amma has created self-help groups that empower rural under-privileged women with vocational training and employment for a sustainable livelihood. This project provides employment to women through various simple manual  labour including preparation of turmeric powder, rose water, Panchetailam (five types of oils), cleaning powder, production of kumkum & other pooja items and also handmade eco-friendly packing material. This initiative has created sustainable development and enhanced the quality of their lives in the rural areas surrounding Thirumalaikodi.
